Cape Town – The Cellars Hohenort boutique hotel
You will be received at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can plunge into the pool, have a sundowner while the sun sets or have supper. The next day the participants of the photography course will leave for their first day of shooting on location. Transport to and from the location is included. The evenings are spent at leisure. Constantia, the wine region of Cape Town, is also the oldest wine region in the Western Cape. Some of South Africa’s best wines are grown in this valley, and many of these wine estates have phenomenally good restaurants. Four Cape restaurants are even in the Top 100 of the world’s best restaurants!

Hermanus – The Marine boutique hotel
After breakfast and check out, a transfer will take you to Hermanus. A quaint picturesque seaside village. Known around the world as The Whale Capital. You will again stay at a small 5-star boutique hotel, one of South Africa’s most spectacular seaside hotels. Located on Hermanus’ famous cliff path, overlooking the breathtaking Walker Bay, it offers visitors the unique opportunity to experience the finest land-based whale watching in the world.

Besides whale watching, Hermanus is also a famous wine region. to many, it is the place for fine, restrained, classically styled South African Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Falling within the Walker Bay “District”, It comprises three contiguous “Wine Wards” located behind the historic seaside resort town of Hermanus, surrounded by nature reserves, overlooking the cool South Atlantic Walker Bay.

Hemel-en-Aarde means Heaven and Earth in old Dutch and Afrikaans and according to a visiting Moravian missionary in 1899, “Rightly has it got its name because so high are the hills which closely embrace the valley all round, that they seem to touch the sky and you cannot see anything but heaven and earth”.
