Day 1 & 2
The lodge is located in Chobe National Park. It has spacious, luxury en-suite rooms and exquisite views. Game drives and boat cruises offer the best way to experience this amazing park. Chobe National Park supports a diverse and high concentration of wildlife, more so than anywhere else in the country. In Chobe National Park you will find Africa’s largest concentration of elephant. There are floodplains, swamps and woodland. The location of the lodge provides the chance to offer all the different activities; game drives, sunset boat cruises, private boat hire, Victoria Falls day trips, fishing and fantastic scenic flights for the best views from above.
On the first day after you have arrived, you can already enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River. Large family groups of elephants come to the river to drink and bathe throughout the day, but especially in the late afternoon, just before sunset. The next morning, you will be picked up at the lodge, and you will be taken into Chobe National Park for a game drive in a 4×4 safari vehicle. After such a fantastic way to start the day, we will return to the lodge for leisure time. After lunch you will depart on another boat cruise on the Chobe River.
Day 3&4
Today the day will again start with a fantastic game drive in Chobe and breakfast afterwards at the lodge, after which we will venture into the Okavango Delta! A transfer will take you to Kasane Airport. Here you can board a small aircraft which will fly you into the Okavango Delta, where you will spend 2 nights. From above, the views of the Okavango Delta are absolutely unparalleled!
There are many activities offered at the camp. You could go on a game drive, guided bush walks, traditional ‘mokoro’ canoe trips and motor-boat trips on the Boro River. Game drives will be available only when water levels are low and most areas of the concession are accessible. Mokoros, boat cruises & fishing are also water level dependent, but provide a once in a lifetime experience.
Day 5&6
After your morning activity and breakfast at the camp, you can check out, and a game drive vehicle will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight toward a different region within the Delta. The camp is set in a private 272 km2 concession, adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve on the south-eastern side of the Delta. It overlooks the Gomoti River and its floodplain and the camp has been designed to embrace the natural surroundings. This is a 100% eco-friendly development, featuring the latest in solar and waste technology. Day and night game drives (on-road and off-road) take place in the private concession adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve. The camp also offers seasonal water activities on the Gomoti River and game walks and mokoro trips are available depending on local conditions. The Okavango Delta truly is one of the most special and serene parts of the country. There are extensive waterways, floodplains, swamps and flooded grassland. The Okavango Delta is home to some of the world’s most endangered species of large mammals, like the white and black rhino, African wild dog, the cheetah and lions. A magical stay at the end of a once in a lifetime African safari experience.
