9 Days – 8 Nights self-drive. From Johannesburg to Limpopo, Kruger National Park, Tzaneen via the Panorama Route. After you have arrived at O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg you will be met at the airport by a local representative and you will be transferred to your accommodation.
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be travelling 170km to Bela-Bela and can relax and revel in the exquisite natural beauty of the bushveld savannah and its rich wild life heritage. Bela-Bela means ‘boiling boiling’ in the Tswana language, which refers to the hot springs that are the town’s main attraction. Set in the foothills of the beautiful Waterberg mountains, the hot springs were originally used for healing purposes by the Tswana people hundreds of years ago. Today these legendary waters have been turned into a series of fountains, pools and bathing areas at various health and holiday resorts.
You will be travelling 395km to Mapungubwe.The area has been layered in a long and convoluted history, which may explain an unexpected feeling of connectivity. Here you can enjoy a walking tour and see the wild animals of the park, such as lions, elephants, rhino, leopard and wild dogs. Game drives are also available.
Tzaneen offers warm hospitality and charm with a wealth of beauty and allure. It’s all there for the taking in an area where history, geography and culture add character in a tantalizing mix. You can spend the day at the Makapan Caves the only cultural heritage site in Limpopo or take a walk through the Kings Walden Garden.
Today you will drive to Kruger National Park which is an excellent location for game viewing and remains a firm favourite with visitors.
Today you will be travelling 345km to White River, via the Panorama Route where you can take in the Breathtaking views, plunging waterfalls, eagles flying above you and a rich history. Once you have arrived in White River you can do active activities to fill up your day such as Zip-lining, water rafting or even visit the reptile route.
After a full adventure tour, you will make your way to Johannesburg for an overnight.
