Day 1-5
This beautiful eco lodge is off grid and due to its location in the middle of the bush, offers thrilling and intimate wildlife encounters. The lodge offers a wide array of facilities. You are taking twice-a-day on a fantastic game drive excursion and all meals are prepared for you. The camp also provides a tranquil environment for you to relax and rewind in a beautiful natural low – veld experience. There is a pool to cool you down on hot days, a Bush bar and deck overlooking the nearby waterhole. There is even an exclusive tree house 1.5 kms away from camp for bush sleepouts!!
It is set in the Timbavati Game Reserve, on the western boundaries of Kruger National Park. Timbavati lies between the Klaserie, Umbabat, Manyeleti and Sabie Sands Reserves. In recent years, the fences separating Timbavati from the Kruger National Park were removed to form a pristine wilderness area of approximately four million hectares. It is regarded as one of the best regions, within the Greater Kruger Park, to spot the Big 5 and other wildlife.
Day 5-6
For the best wilderness and safari experience, a bush camp within Kruger National Park provides accommodation in smaller, more remote camps. Bush camps do not have shops or restaurants and are therefore more secluded. They make you feel closer to nature. Open verandas often serve as kitchen/dining room, providing you with the perfect view to cook and enjoy your supper and sundowner drink. For your comfort, all units have a refrigerator, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and a stove, either a two-plate stove without an oven or a four-plate stove with an oven in the larger units. All units have private ablution facilities.
Venture into Kruger in your own vehicle. Take your time and choose your own routes. The days are yours to explore!
